Gorilla Trekking Destinations

There are only three countries in Africa where a visitor can watch the gorillas in their natural settings that is Uganda, Rwanda and DR.Congo though there are also other countries with the gorillas most especially the ones in the central Africa region but unfortunately these do not organize gorilla safari tours. Within these three countries there lie mountain gorillas one of the four subspecies of gorillas. The mountain gorillas are huge apes that are found in the mountain tropical rain forests of central Africa. The mountain gorillas are about 900 individuals in the whole world and these are only found in the three countries with Uganda taking the lion’s share of about 480 individuals and the rest of shared by Rwanda and Congo. These countries gazzatted four places for these huge primates so that they can be protected and conserved for the future generation to enjoy. Here are the gorilla destinations in the three countries;
